Sudden Stop
A water main near Brae needed some work today, so they'll have switched the operation to somewhere the toilets have water in them.
stilldellin
Heard it was problems with the de-icing gear, yep, plenty action at Sumburgh today :-http://i1207.photobucket.com/albums/bb479/beenister/sdas-332g-pums_zps5adc7a98.jpg
Sudden Stop
De-icing gear? No there's been no problem with any of that. Nae water in the toilet pan is a big problem though especially when you've got hundreds of guys that have been rattled to pieces crossing the north sea! Hamiltonian
^^ Just heard that Scatsta's shut for the weekend. Something about changing systems over by contractors on the new tower. Anyone know if CHC are flying the Puma yet? I think Bristow have worked every weekend since the grounding. Must be quite a little earner for them. mogling
A friend in Gulberwick phoned me earlier to ask if I could see on the ships map site what helicopter/s were doing over Gulberwick earlier tonight? I looked at AIS and the rescue helicopter had spent quite a lot of time circling between the Trebister side and Upper Sound area. Anyone know if they were on exercise, or were they looking for something / someone?
MuckleJoannie
Apparently the helicopter was shining its searchlight on Lerwick.
Stevo
The Helicopter was apparently out looking for someone. The Police were also in Gulberwick along with Oscar Charlie.
