shetlandpeat
As you may be aware, Comet, the electrical retailer will be closing its doors on Monday. It has issued instructions not to honour the pre-paid gift vouchers. They are now worthless. Current legalisation cannot guarantee any full refund, or even any refund. Those who have followed the Farepak saga will know a bit more about it. You will now have to apply for compensation. In light of this, anyone who has these vouchers should ask their councillor, MP and MSP to act on your behalf. Do not delay, some folk with Farepak never got their money back. The more pressure put on to GOV to address this the better. Any, prepaid voucher is worthless, unless it is exchanged for goods, there is no regulation to stop folk from not honouring the gift vouchers.
