MuckleJoannie
Is it anything to do with this? https://www.southern-electric.co.uk/LowerPrices/ £12 Government Electricity RebateAll eligible Domestic Electricity customers will receive a Government Electricity Rebate for £12.00 towards their energy usage shortly after 12 October 2014.SSE Southern Electric has long supported the case for the cost of Government schemes to be removed from customer bills and funded instead through taxation. We worked with the Government to ensure that this rebate would help to reduce customer bills, and we're delighted that this is now being put into practice. You can also look forward to a similar rebate next year.If you pay on receipt of a bill or by Direct Debit, you'll see the rebate shown on your bill as a £12.00 credit. If you're on a Pay As You Go meter, you'll receive a letter and voucher to redeem at any PayPoint outlet.
