daveh
I sympathise with you that you can't get the signal as it is very good. However, it is frustrating that it only includes BBC stations as I wanted Talksort via it.

Frances144
Apparently those that use the Bressay signal. It goes up the east side, as far as Yell.

I don't see any plans for one. Maybe this falls into the 3% of the population that not expected to get DAB? Meanwhile, maybe an outdoor antenna pointed in the direction of Bressay might get you reception? BBC is working on long term plan for when FM band is cleared for other use.Use of, or not, of transmitters is a commercial decision by the commercial broadcasters. Apple
DAB works great here in Lerwick. I can even see what tune is playing and who plays it. Unfortunately I still need Analogue FM to get radio Scotland and radio Shetland. So much for DAB.

MJ
Does anyone know when the rest of Shetland might get a digital radio signal? If you get all the freeview channels, you should be able to get DAB, we do, was thinking your more direct line of sight to Bressay than we are. Weather can effect the signal, but the DAB channels are very limited, not tried to see what we can get other than 4extra.

Dunno whether it would be our local Eiffel Tower or not because some of the telly is via BT (and I don't mean BT Vision) so wonder if the same applies to radio? As I think I only live about 100m from you its a little annoying I really need to bite the bullet and buy a wireless internet radio as they have a lot more choice of stations anyway. 5 Live Sports Extra & Talksport are the 2 channels I really want, plus decent 5 reception as MW at night here has so much interference.
