Israel vs. Middle Eastern Arab states

Recommended Posts

Without this, we only have the Israeli's word that Hamas were doing it countered by Hamas swearing that they weren't.

Or you might have the IDF saying that they came under attack from a school. Then the UN might categorically say that no Hamas fighters were in the school. Then the Israeli line might change to "Hamas were in the vicinity". This is further complicated by the Israeli definition of "who" is Hamas. Government workers, police, etc are all considered legitimate targets. Further, you have the time delay between mobile Hamas units firing mortars and the Israeli response. Fair enough if your life is in danger and you might die if you don't respond immediately. But hours later? Will the Hamas soldiers still be there? I doubt it.

A total of 53 installations used by the United Nations Relief and Works agency (UNRWA) were damaged or destroyed during Israel's Gaza campaign, including 37 schools - six of which are being used as emergency shelters - six health centres, and two warehouses.

wages in the north sea were on a level of 30% more +/- than the jobs overseas so wrong again claudias.

I have never stated all palestinians are evil and likewise I never said all israeli's are saints. but lets look at their governments, hammas have a policy of the destruction of israel, the israeli government has no such policy on palestine. hammas strap explosives to kids, handicaped (special needs), then detonates them in crowded shopping malls bars etc. israel does not.

so who would you class as evil?

So still not willing to go visit your mates then Claudias.

I may be a sheepshagger but your safe being a pussy.

Get of your ass and go see for yourself before telling the world your opinion of things you know damn all about.

In the last few years a lot of folk from shetland have set of far flung lands for many reasons to work or live and I must say if the fact that I have taken pleasure in watching how their view of the world changed to be more in line with my own the more they travelled makes me evil then I guess I'm damned.

For myself though I think it is a damn site more evil to make children weapons by strapping explosives to them than most of the turd I've seen in this world, and you openly support the twisted boobalubes that do this.

You are in my opinion a sad piece of work.

Outrageously, the BBC have refused to show a charitable appeal for humanitarian aid to the civilians in Gaza. Their suffering is too "politically contentious" apparently.

I can't see how members of the public will confuse a humanitarian appeal, for people in desperate need in Gaza, with unbalanced reporting???

There's a standing public service agreement to broadcast Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) appeals, and commercial terrestrial channels ITV, Channel 4 and Five are all doing so.

If the BBC continues to refuse, it will set a terribly dangerous precedent -- implying that civilians in politicised conflicts shouldn't get humanitarian aid, that we have to stand aloof from their suffering to maintain some kind of amoral neutrality.

To add your complaint to the many thousands now being sent to the BBC on this issue, follow the link below:

Hi peter, maybe they are still a bit pissed about their reporter getting kidnapped and threatened with slow decapitation, this would certainly seem to explain the reversal of opinion they have recently undertaken.

prior to said reporters kidnapping hammas could do no wrong since the much reported incident they are hardly flavour of the month.

Could this be evidence of bias in the BBC?..... Surely not!

All things media whether it is the latest drama from ITV or the in depth report from BBC watchdog or channel 4 with their unvieled political comentry are politically motivated, and if you think otherwise you are to dumn to fopp, please procede to the sterilisation clinic do not pass go but please pass any oppertunity to breed on the way there.

What a strange experience. I read the above bilge and decided to stick to my decision to ignore you. Read your latest remarks to Peter and that led me back to this garbage and slowly realised that it rang a few bells.

Palestinians are not pals, yet, like many other normal people in this world, I sympathise with the underdogs and they are certainly downtrodden in their own country. From posessing the whole of it they are now reduced to tiny enclaves completely surrounded by Israelis who dictate every move and deprive them of essential supplies.

As for turning children into weapons, this brings a picture to my mind of an eleven or twelve year old girl who sees the rest of her family murdered and is herself scarred with shrapnel. She feels that life is no longer worth living but firmly believes that if she becomes a martyr she will be warmly greeted by all the other martyrs in Heaven. She gets herself fitted with a belt and dies with a huge smile on her face as she explodes it on a crowded bus.

Then. To show you how sad I really am. I PRAY that beside her on the bus is the wife and young family of the evil Israeli commander who locked 120 women and children into a building without food or water. He let them suffer for a few days and then called down a strike which totally destroyed the building and it's occupants. I hope that he and the rest of his unit rot in Hell.

So,despite your lack of intelligence, you were partially right. I like Jews but detest the current crop of leaders in Israel, just as I am a staunch socialist but detest our latest selection of leaders.

Carry on travelling the world, gaining many experiences, but please find some intelligence so that you can turn the facts into wisdom.
