Shetland Song

Hello, my name is Cheryl Hughson and I am currently studying to become a music teacher at the University of Aberdeen.

 

I have chosen to study Shetland Song for my dissertation, and I intend to explore the issue of conservation and personal enjoyment of this rare and beautiful genre of music.

 

I would more than appreciate if you could spare a few minutes to answer my questionnaires that will contribute to my dissertation. Your information will not be stored and you will be 100% anonymous.

 

I have created two questionnaires for people to fill out on the internet, one is aimed at the general public and the other "Composers of Shetland Song" is aimed at composers or people who are currently writing in the Shetland Song Style. Anyone who has written songs in the past is more than welcome to take part, as is anyone who simply has an interest.

 

A bonus to me would be if you had the time to fill both questionnaires out, they are both short, and shouldn't take too much time.
