righter
it will be a return to heaving stuff over da banks...not good for the tourist trade...and the council will have to pay to clear up fly-tipping any way.
RileyBKing
Cue SIC suddenly finding spare money in the capital spending budget to install CCTV in all the prime locations....sadly, not too far fetched, it's happening in England Obviously, the costs of said CCTV installations will far exceed the savings from taking the skips away.... MuckleJoannie
They've already had to stop community skips in the Western Isles due to Health and Safety concerns. The SICV is following suit before they get hassled too. http://azgiles.blogspot.co.uk/2012/09/skipping-to-be-banned-on-isle-of-lewis.html

Until you leave that odd bill stuffed in the settee. Your name, address and occupation will be published in the weekly stocks. It should be, and is in cases up to the purveyors of such goods to offer a service of removals, some items could attract a fee. Perhaps it could be time for the poor rural communities to get something done, stand up as one and with one voice. Or just pay. The threat of polluting the coast line/countryside is really quite childish and belongs playing in a skip.
