Cleaning growth from tiled roof

Thanks for that hobbinho.

The only thing that concerned me, I heard someone saying you can destroy concrete tiles when you pressure wash them???

Your unlikely to destroy them but you can end up with a rougher surface, which makes it easier for the moss etc to grip. A coat of paint or clear sealer will reduce the re growth rate and re-seal the surface.

Remember to disconnect your down pipes to stop the moss etc blocking the rubble drains/drains.

did this on my cousins roof, took an AGE with a good pressure washer! as suggested it did work but left a rougher surface that would need sealed with something. i'd advise the bleach/Chlorous route personally then pressure wash off what's still there
