Angel
Just wondering if anyone knows if there's anyone up here who hires out kilts or makes kilts? I'm sure I've heard there's possibly someone in Tingwall but I can't seem to find any info.

ecwc1972
Why does it sadden you that people in shetland would want to wear kilts?Like it or not shetland is part of scotland and if you don't like it why not jog on to Norway!
Kavi Ugl
It's got nothing to do with Norway, I just grew up thinking Shetland had it's own identity where kilts, bagpipes and tartan weren't part of it.
Scorrie
It saddens me that any man in Shetland would want to wear a kilt..... Perhaps, just perhaps some of the residents of Shetland have Scots in their family lines and wish to keep part of their own heritage alive? shetlandpeat
The man wearing it may be from Scotland. It saddens me that any man in Shetland would want to wear a kilt..... You cannot tell folk what to wear now, especially since Scotland has been injecting Shetland with genes since the 14th C, along with the Dutch, French, Danes, Norwegians, English, Germans and anyone else. Noodeyn
Real men wear kilts! Theres a Shetland branch of the tartan army that travel all over the world following and supporting the Scottish Football team and representing Shetland with a flag and Shetland spirit as they go. They all wear kilts and look very handsome.
