Cheers Joannie I had a look and a chat they dont seem to hire the stuff but do have occasional second hand items most of there hire business is based around construction and buildng

There are one or two who can be hired to do such work - machine/tractor/driver, it might be worth asking any of them with they were willing to hire out machine only.

 

Not really been keeping up with who does that kind of thing these days, but I think Irvine Tractors at Tingwall are still in that kind of business. Even if they can't help, they would hopefully know of a direction to point you in of someone who might, as they'll know who else is doing similar stuff.
