paulb Posted April 5, 2014 Author Report Share Posted April 5, 2014 plus rare earth metals. an island state needs all the resources it can get. i know about the copper and iron mines and the chromite ive even heard that there is lead ore on sheltland, which meas there should be silver in it too. we also have asbestos as well. a few more ores and we could build our own cars. wonder if there is any tin ad zinc. we could even sell our own shetland talc. now what gems do we have i know ive seen garnet like crystals in yell. finally do we have any on shore oil.
