Claadehol Posted June 4, 2014 Report Share Posted June 4, 2014 Re the ongoing debate on Shetland independence, there has been a number of posts highlighting the importance and value of the fishing industry.In the event of Shetland having independence it would need to have vessels available to police its waters. Perhaps, instead of selling off the notorious tugs, Solan and Bonxie, they could be utilised for this purpose.
