rjg5948
Looking at purchasing a wind turbine (from either AEC or Nordri). Just wondering what experiences owners have had installing wind turbines locally, specifically either Kingspan KW6 or Evance R9000 units. How are you finding production, how does it compare with the estimates given?Have you had any faults/problems and were they resolved promptly?Any issues or comments that you think others should be aware of before purchasing? paulb
we have an evance system. apart from one auto shut off due to wind speed. its not had a problem. evance have had to alter the amout it feeds into the grid as they wont allow more than roughly 3.5kw connections the rest is sent to a dump heater. the installation went smoothly the groundworks guy was local and very friendly he is from twat. we thought they would destroy our park as it gets very soft but it was way better than we thought. shetlandpeat
Argon
People who have a Kingspan report that it is outproducing the Evance by a small ammount. Nordri are local whereas AEC are from down south. Kingspan Pay for all Warranty Labour, Evance Dont. Something to think about if there is a claim under warranty will AEC be quite as keen to attend quickly as they will have to pay travel and labour costs.Nordri carry a lot of spare parts so could effect a repair quickly.
