As a ginger I hated it as a child got severly teased about it but as I've got older it's not been too bad. I think ginger boys definitely have a worse life than ginger girls. As I've found out there are men out there that only go for ginger girls. I don't think it's the same for boys though ask most girls if they would date and ginger guy and most replys would be "eewww no". Certainly the old side burns have a slightly red tinge, but the rest is G-free, I don't care what they say! PS - I still maintain that you're not a proper gince unless you've got the fair, freckley skin and the blue eyes. Strawberry blonde forever! So I asked her to imagine a scenario where she met a lovely young man. I painted a long and wonderful picture of him, by the end I could see that she was almost in love. I finished the story off by telling her that he was a Ginga. She instantly went off the idea of meeting him There is a certain truth in the men that go for ginger haired women! Grey haired men have the highest IQ. Their brain had sucked in so much knowledge that it has even removed the coloured pigmentation from the hair. Colin Posted August 19, 2006 Report Share Posted August 19, 2006 I one did a 'Google' on ginger hair (lot of it in my family) and found an article that claimed the the bit of genetics responsible for ginger was inherited from neanderthal man.. It also claimed a link to higher than average intelligence and several other features. Seems we were doing all right until you damned Cro-Magnons messed things up..
