Aaron Foord Posted September 28, 2014 Report Share Posted September 28, 2014 I know that I cannot use a Sky+ box to record Freesat programs as I have never had a Sky contract, but is anyone using a Freesat recorder and if so, can they recommend it? I have been looking for ages but all the cheaper ones I find seem to have mixed reviews on places like Amazon, especially concerning noisy fans and ease of use. shevans Posted October 3, 2014 Report Share Posted October 3, 2014 I have owned a few Humax Freesat recorders, never had a issue with them. Made reliable recordings and was easy to use. We did subscribe to Sky at one point with additional channels but Freesat provided us with all the viewing we needed and when we move house again will consider buying another.
