Creationist Vs Evolutionary Theory

Does creation exist? Well Does evolution exist. Is it possible that if a gale of wind blows through a junk yard then out the other side would emerge a fully functional 747 aircraft?

This sort of crap really annoys me!

I wish, for once, the religous loonies who slag off evolution (and, in the process, the whole of science) would actually get off their fat lazy ar*es and read a book about evolution. They might find it enlightening.

Evolution is NOT RANDOM..!

The key prase is "survival of the fittest". This means selection on the basis of which organism is best suited for the environmental niche it is living in.

I've read your bible (and I thought it was a load of rubbish) so before you presume to lecture me about my beliefs, go and read some Dawkins. You might learn something.

Oh, Sorry, forget that last paragraph. I forgot that you closed your minds to anything new when you "accepted jesus into your heart". Just ignore me (while the world burns, buts thats what you're all waiting for anyway, isn't it? The end can't come soon enough for you guys)

P.S How come Jesus is the son of God and the descendant of David through two different lines all at the same time?

fairly unlikely, but more possibly an SIC Islander, which over the millenia might develop into a 747!

"Arguing [evolution] with a Christian is like playing chess with a pigeon. He knocks over all the pieces, turds on the board, and then flies home to his flock to declare victory."

like wise, visa versa.

There is no solid answer, so what ever way you look at it, someones gonna have turd on something.

It takes as much faith to believe in Big Bang/Evolution as it does Christianity.

I disagree. As I stated earlier in this thread, faith requires no evidence, whereas "Big Bang/Evolution" are based on empirical evidence and extrapolation. I'm not saying either of these theories are 100%, (science is in the business of trying to disprove and improve theories) but they're the product of hundreds of years of objective research and factual observation

Faith - confidence or trust in a person or thing.

Believe - to have confidence in the truth, the existence, or the reliability of something, although without absolute proof that one is right in doing so.

science ofcourse has absolute proof? I might have been better to word it Confidence?

I remain, that you have to have confidence, in the reliability of the experiments/observations, and in the existence of the big bang without conclusive evidence.
