I'm with the confused & underdog comments, both candidates for Room 101.

In addition:

All the ads which imply that hip 20somethings favourite leisure time activity is playing (a) bingo or (B) online poker

The ads that imply that payday loans at APRs up to about 5000% are a smart way to start up your new business venture, pay car expenses, and generally manage your finances (!)

May both of yez ballz go square an fester at the corners, ye f.eckers  Them twannies Cameron, Clagg an Osborne are only finishin what ye started, the smarmy gets!)

Totally agree. All these ads relating to instant loans, life insurance for the over 50s, free lawyers to sue someone, we buy your gold, get out of debt free with our help etc are all targeted at financially vulnerable people who may be so desperate that reading the small print appears irrelevant.

What amazes me is that all these ads are (presumably) perfectly legal and don't attact the attention of Advertising Standards either. To me as a non lawyer they often stretch my ideas on legality and especially morality to breaking point and beyond. Where are all the consumer protection bodies and caring politicians when you need them?

Can't stand the new advert for Vanish white bleach solution (don't know what I'm saying, read on). There was a teacher who was teaching young children about colours, she points out a red circle then her 'white shirt', after the demonstration of how Vanish whitens your clothes, she points again to her blouse. When the children said 'red', 'grey' and 'white'. They sound so tonedeaf; I can't get a word they are saying.

I'm torn between the Moneysupermarket adverts series and the Plusnet. Which is worse? They both so annoying. I actually turned the TV off last time the Moneysupermarket advert came on... :x

Does anyone know who that woman of the Go Compare advert is? It is the advert that they 'try' to 'save' our nation. She seems to explode Pavarotti leaving the remains of the residents' garden burdened with soil, the woman takes her hat off and smiles. Who the hell is she?? I am thinking it is an American somehow. Does anyone know?

i totally agree with you guys especially the first post, it was the first thing that came to mind so i guess it really gets to a lot of people's nerves i wonder how this affects the company or maybe it is just their way of getting people's attention. i do hope that they improve on advertising cause it is surely very irritating to me! also hate it when they play adverts so many times consecutively sometime i think my television went wrong or something.
