Does anyone know if VW are liable to find the transport costs of getting the car to Aberdeen for the mod? If so, do you have proof, please? Thanks. It says that there will be no MPG change, no emissions change and no change in the performance. (So why did they recall?). I'm almost certain that they're liable too. Will still do a service (any garage can) but they told me they wouldn't do warranty work. Looks like a boat trip to Specialist Cars in Aberdeen. I won't be paying for that. Apparently they will be using a mobile unit (maybe in the form of the AA or equivalent) to get the work done. The work will be completed on Highlands and Islands during the months of May, July and October. They will be in touch. No free trips to Abz then!
