Frances144
Heavens to Betsy. "The Zetland North Sea Range - Clumly Bass - red vin de table - soft and fruity" Well, I only bought it because I like the idea of new things, Shetland things, something different. And, by golly, that was different. It was disgusting. It went straight down the plughole and I don't do that lightly. £5.99 I threw away and I am sad. Whoever G&B Anderson are, they should be seriously sieving the rat that fell in the wine vat first. They should be ashamed of themselves. Ugh! (and this is from someone who will drink Moutai which tastes like nothing on this planet - essence of dog bed!) Avoid like the plague unless you want to take a top-of-the-bottom range of red wine with a vague Shetland-esque theme to a party in the hope that it make you look good but you never have to drink it or receive it back ever again.Pics so you can recognise the offender. http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e302/Frances144/14962727_10154702871517265_1904027243328168184_n_zpspznnoero.jpg http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e302/Frances144/14908382_10154702871442265_8159433242934121079_n_zpsvay3ee4x.jpg Edited November 7, 2016 by Frances144
Frances144
http://www.zetlandbond.com/north-sea-range Has anyone tried the rest of the range? Perchance the Skaw Taing Merlot Mandrarossa (feeling guilty now. Perhaps my bottle was corked)
MuckleJoannie
I'm not a wine drinker but I did open a bottle of the Merlot as I needed red wine for a recipe. I had a couple of glasses while I was at it. I thought it was ok but not brilliant.
