Anyone any ideas what's the situation at enviroglass , was alang last week for pavers is it still trading?

Bobby Roberts supposed to be taken it over but no idea when/what.

Look for 'Shetland Precast' (run by Bobby Roberts) on Facebook, they were advertising they'd  taken it over just over a week ago.

Thanks for the info, seems a bit strange was it not the amenity trust , they kept this all very quiet ???

It was in the news recently that the Shetland Amenity Trust were worried about the viability of Enviroglass.

Seems to me Enviroglass was always of highly questionable viability seeing as the council was have to pay them to take it off their hands by taxing it at approx £80 +/- per tonne incoming, to make the numbers work.

I agree with ghostrider ,but it looks like deals done behind closed doors was it put on the open market , a lot of property machinery , products to change hands on the quiet , have the staff been found non jobs in the trust , the web site is still up with a payment page? Was any of this value for money for taxpayers
