Till death do us part

I see the actor Tony Booth has died and he will be best remembered for his role in the 70s comedy "Till death do us part." He was also the father of Cherie Blair but we must try to forgive him for that, he cant really be held responsible for either her politics nor her choice of husband. 

This comedy had a huge following with the bigoted character Alf Garnet in the starring role. Can we expect a rerun of this comedy on our screens now, (I would rather like to see some of them again), or will the politically correct brigade ensure that we can never watch them again.

Tony Booth and Vera Duckworth turning up at the Pearly Gates together - Old St Peter will think he's morphed in to an old re-run of Corrie.

 

We'll never see TDDUP on our screens again, certainly not the early (and best) ones - PC'ness would have a heart attack en masse. Maybe an occasional heavily edited version, after the watershed. Us non-PC types will just have to continue watching them in the privacy of our own homes having had them delivered under plain brown cover......

 

Could have sworn Booth pegged it years ago though.....Must be the Mandela Effect. Couldn't possibly be I have a crap memory for showbiz tat.
