BigMouth
Without wishing to offend anyone, I can't but notice that the majority of our bus drivers are fast heading towards retirement age, either that or they have been overly enjoying the fiddle and accordion sessions. When these drivers get too old to point the bus in the right direction, and go home to put their slippers on for a well earned rest, who takes over the driving from them? Where do those drivers come from? I have never seen a bus with an L plate up here, so presumably we wait for drivers to be born, rather than train them? Colin
Yes, there are quite a few older(?) drivers but, there are also quite a few younger ones as well.. Maybe you are takng the wrong buses ? Anyway, you can't just fire the older guys to make room for younger ones..
BigMouth
I don't want them fired, I am just considering their years to retirement! Where are the replacements, or are Leasks secretly testing the latest bleeding edge autonomous buses in the dark of night in that garage of theirs? Ghostrider
Leask's drivers never completely retire, they have a long history of drivers in their 70's still trundling along, especially for tourist hires.

Where are the replacements, or are Leasks secretly testing the latest bleeding edge autonomous buses in the dark of night in that garage of theirs? There is no longer a great need for bus drivers, they're old hat now.
BigMouth
Perhaps this is what the council will invest in for the Sumburgh Airport run?
