Agree that poison is a bad idea, unless you have a serious infestation. The other thing is, don't delay as they breed PDQ.

Metal traps with chocolate work great but wir cats seem to be enough to keep them clear nowadays.

Is there any research on this?........some reliable form of contraception for mice might be a longer term solution to a big problem. Even if the medicine was disguised as peanut butter.

Anybody been aware of mooses loose aboot da hoose this year?

My girlfriend just rang me today to let me know that a mouse has been sneaking into our kitchen and eating lentils and tea-towels. I'm investing in some traps this lunchtime.

And the cats are going to have some serious questions to answer as well.

Think we have a family of mice in our house. They have got in near the central heating boiler and can travel around via the pipes to the radiators, so don't seem to come out where the cat or dog can catch them. Just in my kitchen cupboards - ugh! :x

Have had the humane traps, but they either seem to die of shock in them or - eat their way out!

Couldn't get metal traps locally so have just put down quite a few plastic traps, baited with bits of Mars bar.

Anybody got any new/better tips for getting rid of the little blighters?
