redrobbie
Great timing for his case the press are in such an utter feeding frenzy about this virus to bother much with the Alex Salmod trial . Claadehol
We have to accept the jury's verdict of course but wouldn't it be great if we could all afford this level of legal representation. Nine witnesses and all lying it seems. Serious questions now to be raised re the integrity if the first minister and the SNP government. This is just the beginning but the catastrophic problems facing the UK as a whole with the epidemic must take precedence here.

Remember, Boris is your P.M. and never forget the statements that he comes out with.
Ghostrider
Where in the UK could one have sourced a truly unbiased jury to try the Nats saviour and demigod. The verdict as delivered was pretty much a foregone conclusion before he was even charged. Acid
George.
I would suggest that the verdict was a great surprise to those that inflicted the charges upon him, and inflicted the charges upon him for a reason. Westminster.
Colin
Not saying he was guilty or innocent, but the prosecution witnesses must have failed to convince the jury. Must have had the same lawyer as O J Simpson !! Why were 2 of the jury discharged ? Is it possible that those 2 might have swayed the verdict in the opposite direction? Windwalker
Perhaps they weren't Westminstorean Perhaps they weren't Westminstorean enough? George, as usual you seem to think that every issue is the blame of Westminster. This was a Scottish man tried in a Scottish court in Edinburgh. What does Westminster have to do with it? George.
^Why was Salmond put through court for something he has been found not guilty of? A third party caused that, who do you think that was?
Windwalker
I would think the 3rd party was the large number of people who brought the complaint against him, still don’t understand why you think this is Westminster’s fault.
George.
I would suggest that Westminster saw it as an opportunity to begin destruction of the S.N.P. but the royalists will possibly disagree.
Windwalker
Not sure how you’ve come to that conclusion George. Alex Salmond was taken to court, a Scottish court, due to complaints made to the police by a number of women. The court rightly or wrongly found him not guilty. Your conspiracy theory that it was an attempt by Westminster to destroy the SNP Just doesn’t make sense. Being a royalist has nothing to do with it either.
