It would appear to me that their was no "concrete" evidence to substantiate any of those women's claims of sexual harassment so this indictments should never have been brought to court in the first place.

As I see it this gives Alex Salmond a very good case against those who charged him and put him on trial , without the evidence to back it up.

Still think that Alex probably did have "wandering" hands but without evidence no point in pursuing the matter.

This was probably more to do with First Minister trying to appease the females in our communities who claim they get little response when they complain about harassment to the police, but without the necessary evidence what can they do.

There is no punishment for falsely accusing somebody of rape so the accusers have no reason not to.

There may be one de jure but not de facto!

Crying wolf will be always be the linchpin of the Left because it delivers results!

the ending only applies to actual victims which these twats don’t care about

Allow this PIF to fill you in on how “progressives” operate

When an Ad Hominem is used with an appeal to force the threat of calling your opponent a rapist/racist etc can curb their behavior and what they chose to say,

This should keep them quiet or else they will have to deal with the fallout from this brand of allegation.

When you do drop the allegation its in the hopes that your opponent will drop whatever challenging issue was on the table and shift focus on defending said allegation.

When they then become busy defending their character they won’t have to focus on the actual point.

You could sue them for libel or slander.

In legal theory yes but in legal practice not so much.

this is a case where there is no physical evidence and its entirely based on testimony of events that often happen conveniently when there are no witnesses.

Furthermore judges are often more sympathetic to women which leads to statistically lower sentences for identical crimes and favorable decisions such as custody.

as i said before

There may be one de jure but not de facto!

Well George, the Shetland population seem to like the Lib Dems better than the SNP , that's certainly what the democratic vote suggests.

By the way there's a civil war going to erupt within the SNP once the pandemic is over. Salmond is thirsting for blood and Nicola and her husband are in the crosshairs. Sturgeon and Salmond each have roughly 50% support within the SNP and the knives are out.

Interesting times ahead....

Yes Claadehol, it was unfortunate but then again? Lib dem 47%, S.N.P. 32%, Independent 10% and the rest not worth talking about. There is somebody there that used to get much more of the vote, and there is somebody else that now gets much more of a vote than they used to. It's fair to say that it makes you wonder, isn't it.

So who stands to win the Salmon or Sturgeon?

maxresdefault.jpg

how they handle the Lifting of the Lockdown is going to shape peoples opinion on the SNP

Sturgeon says there may be a phased Scottish Exit strategy that will be different from the rest of the UK,

We are all ears but its all sizzle and no steak There is just nothing substantial or definitive

https://www.gov.scot/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-framework-decision-making/

If, after easing any restrictions, the evidence tells us we are unable to contain the transmission of the virus then we will have to re-impose them, possibly returning to lockdown with little notice. While we will do our best to avoid this, it is possible that such a cycle may happen more than once until we reach a point when we have in place an effective vaccine.

Not really much difference than what the rest of the UK is doing so we don't know if its better or worse and now that the public is desperate for any scrap of information telling us WHEN the lockdown will end would this nit be the best time to show what they have to offer?
