I'm afraid I am unable to answer your question as I am not a user of an Xbox. However I'm sure there are folk out there that can help you! Now thats a challenge! Anyone know how to help oor_wullie? PoolHaddock
Is it an xbox 360 or standard?Do you have the standard Hard disk and drive in the xbox, or has it been modded? I have just signed up with tiscali too, and I have yet to try my xbox in xbox live......but it has been used in xbox live in the past. Oh, nearly forgot, do you have either spare ethernet ports in your router, or in your pc modem?

PoolHaddock
It's a Netgear wireless router that allows you to access the internet from anywhere in your house. It was really easy to set up on my laptop, and it was easy on my pc too (apart from a small error on my part) It has 4 LAN ports on the back of it, which theoretically, you should be able to play xbox live through. I got mine from amazon:http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0000TZ8Z8/qid=1139657264/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl/203-6248479-6311112 If you want to use it wirelessly, you will either need wireless networking capabilites built into you pc/laptop, or you will need to buy a separate wireless card or usb adaptor. (these normally cost about £25)
oor_wullie
i have found this on ebay do you think this would work?? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/USB-to-Ethernet-adapter_W0QQitemZ5864707742QQcategoryZ42322QQssPageNameZWD7VQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
PoolHaddock
To be honest, I'm really not sure...... anybody else know about connecting to xbox live that might be able to help here? My gut feeling tells me that it wouldn't work, because to connect through a modem the computer needs to be off, but for this to work, the computer would need to be on......however, I'm really not sure. Anybody know anything about this?
