Religion & Theology (& should we respect beliefs)
KOYAANISQATSI replied to JAStewart's topic in Anything & Everything Else
Is there much diference between one micro seconed of existance and three score years and ten on the scale of infinity, but if it's a case of the whole Universe in a grain of sand then who knows, are ancient text thousands of years worth of accumulated wisdom or stupidity well the words are there and already part of something but I could not honestly say even with experience of unexplained that I had found God. I would fear that I may be underestimating reality and overestimating my Ego if I stated that I knew the nature and wishes of the driving forces. I dont need the word of moses to get me to grips with a basic understanding of morals and ethics, I find him a little out of touch with things here, today. maybe we could get a church of terry pratchit or something at least it may be less grim faced than some. -
Ian Huntly - Prison Suicide
KOYAANISQATSI replied to Njugle's topic in National & International News
How about stick Huntley and a few few other celeb child killers in di big brother hoose then let the public vote the one they'd least want executed out of the house and back to jail. The last remaining housebeast could then be ritually beheaded by Davina Mcall with a samurai sword. Cmon you'd watch, and after all the public would be having to save others along the way, good for the soul that is. And I for one could find it in my heart to forgive Davina for lopping the buggers heed aff. -

KOYAANISQATSI replied to trout's topic in TV, Film, Arts and Literature
Just a mention to stop this thread falling off the page. Undead An Australian Zombie film with a nice twist. The original "The Haunting" pure creepy. Dracula 2 Ascension, Wes Cravens Dracula 2001 sequel. Jason X, Vorhees in his finest hour. p.s Trout I think it wiz nurse Mctavish that the minister wiz enjoyin the company of in Braindead no Lionels mam. p.p.s Just found out that Eddie Quist, top bad boy in the Howling was played by Richard Picardo who is also the hologram Doctor in startrek Voyager. just thought someone out there would find that as unlikely and cool as I did. p.p.ps moorit wrote: Sorry but there's no part of that sentence I understand. -

It should be noted that with the development of vaporizers, that use the respiratory route for the delivery of carcinogen-free cannabis vapors, the carcinogenic potential of smoked cannabis has been largely eliminated. But if like Sherlock you see no sense or rationality in what I say dont take my word for it. http://www.harmreductionjournal.com/content/2/1/21 As I am not payed by any Government body to remove those who exercise personal choice unlike Serlock&co I do care what happens to people I share my air space with and long for the day when education replaces blind enforcement.

tlady wrote I did say that yeah but only in response to your claim that 75% of cannibis users you knew died because of it, while you happily deal out any alcohol to all and sundry. As for myself I do indeed indulge on a moderate scale "mostly", but do now avoid the worst of the side effects by taking more care than I used to when the bevys flowing. however I shall use the same statistacal reference point you go by and wildly claim that I am 213% happier stoned than drunk.

I strongly oppose this thread, and hereby demand that you all boycott watching Neigbours until Reg Grundy agrees to bring back Lauren Carpenter and only sarah vandenbergh in the role.

justme wrote Say he did and he got put to live on the holy cloud next to the family of and them two wee lasses he killed for kicks and say they had a problem with him being there would they be chucked in your lake of fire for no being forgiving enough. Tricky aint it. lucky for me if if yahweh pops up at the end of days I'll be posted straight downstairs but an eternity in hell would be bliss if it meant I never had to meet Huntley, cliff richards or any bloody christian fundamentilists. -
tlady wrote: get them hooked on the booze then jack up the prices. huv you no seen scarface yet "Dont get high on your own supply". After all you are involved in the supply and distribution of one of the most dangerous drugs out there; perhaps you should have practiced a little moderation, but I know how tricky these things can be, so if I see you on the street struggling I shall be sure to chuck 50p your way.
