  1. I believe Danny Graham has put pen to paper at Wast Linga Ramblers
  2. Was speaking to an Unst lad and a Yell boy in the Thule last night, and they both comfirmed that they'll will merger together and become Northern Rovers. Would Baxter be able to confirm this? Mossbank FC have now folded as of friday night. In camp fighting proving to difficult for the manager to handle and has now lined up working as Scalloway B manager. Donald Wilmore has also signed for Delting next year.
  3. He did. Right in front of the referee.
  4. Anyone heard any b results tonight? Got told Delting 2-3 Whalsay but havent had any real conformation!
  5. Yeah it can be quite frustrating, however it appears on the Mossbank FC website to have a fairly accurate league table on there.
  6. Rumour has it that, Calum 'Girble' Clark has moved from Delting A to Wrultizers. From the mouth of the one in question he reckons he needs a new challange after winnin 6 in a row with the A's. Tizers are in need of numbers after their 8-1 defeat to Ness B at the weekend
  7. I think over the last five years , its been good for shetland football. The league's ranging from A's to Works have all improved imo. I think that the influx of young players in some teams such as Celtic is encouraging. However i do agree that teams such as Unst, Yell and Mossbank will struggle in the B's this year. They will struggle due to not being able to field A players. With Burra i have to agree with the previous post about double standards. However it wasn't all bad; they did get some success in the works league, however if they do keep their team together them alongside Cosmos could follow Mossbank's lead and step up and make the B's more competitive aswell.
  8. A few transfer rumours to report: David McShane has left the Tizers and is reported to be training with Delting and Thistle. The Patterson brothers (Cosmos) have decided to jump up a level to join the Scalloway B's.
  9. Depends on the weather as to wether or not their on or not Frank. The groundsmen seem to be taking it on a game by game basis. Our game beat the weather yesterday, but the B's game v Celtic B was off. Cheers Penfold. Not the best of starts for you boys! just adjusting to the works league? Whats the scipt with Delting calling off the game? did they not have enough players or where they scared of a hammering?
  10. Any ideas when the pitches will be deemed fit and playable?
  11. a few signings to report fro the works league. With Tizers coming within seconds of folding they manage to recruit Neil Clubb as well as the two Manson's, James and Jonny. Jamie Simm will also be in the orange this year after he did a u-turn and turning down local rivals Mossbank, theirs also rumours that Ryan Jozwik may sign on again. Mossbank on the other hand have completed the signing of two players, scouse steve and 'Crouchy'. As one poster in the results page suggested Mossbank HAVEN'T signed Danny Carter,Simm or David Mann. The manager didnt manage to convince them to sign on the dotted line eh mclovin . They have also decided to loan out their young prospect Martyn Neeson to basement boys Banks. They also had a chance to sign Lee Hunter and ex player Sandy Chamers after their agent decided to phone Mossbanks finest right back and sports first aider Trevor Tulloch, however they didnt take them up on it.
  12. as the above poster mentioned Lee hunter never played for Mossbank. Stephen downton got a new 3 year contract at Mossbank due to his goalscring expliots of last season. whats everyones predictions for the works leauge this year?
  13. heard Baroc Revelution signed works leauge legend Lee Hunter. Also Mossbank hall of famer Stephen Downton has signed a new 3 year contract
  14. Nathan McDonald played for Mossbank FC last season plaugestorm! He only played in the games at the end of the season because Mossbank's season had already finished. Also i have to admit but Stuart Lavender did do well for the full 10 minutes he got on for Delting. Lets Face it, the only reason Delting are going to blood in their youngsters is if theres a major injury crisis or there winning by atleast 5 goals. That what all the youngsters hate about Delting. An Example of this was la few seasons Delting falsly promised first team football to Liam McGregor and Nathan Mcdonald to stop them from going to unst for a season. they did play the first games but as the season went on they found them selves out of the first team and on the bench for the B's! Now Liam left Delting and by all accounts has a farely good season at Unst by all accounts.
  15. I totally agree with that post. Delting 12s 14s and 16s are just getting hidings every week! If they are able to get the score to 3 goals between them they've done well. The 18s have afew strong players yes, having 2 players in the inter-county with 1 starting. But the lad that was starting doesn't even play for their senior team, He's playing for Mossbank FC. But they are just not as good as the other youth teams at the mintue at all levels!
  16. Take it your a Delting fan? I think calling Martin Binns the 2nd best right back in shetland is going abit over the top. Even though Delting have a quality A team, the youth system is far from good. The Delting 16s have been thrashed every game, scoring about 8 goals in the process. The 18s have played 5 games winning 1 and losing 4. They can barley field a team every week. They even got humped by a very poor Ness under 18s team. And last but not least, the under 14s get beat about 16-0 every week so its not looking all that rosey at Delting at this moment in time.
  17. I live in Mossbank and despite all you low-lifes,having nothing better to do than slag off a small, happy close toghether community, why don't you worry about drug users and drink driving in other areas of shetland. IMO places like Brae, Scalloway and Lerwick are alot worse than our community which should be the capital of Shetland Mossbank Listen Spence, people in Mossbank are trying to help people who are in poverty like the " guy in rags" who can walk down the street without being bombarded with abuse, where as if he lived in Lerwick, the abuse would be far worse. Despite being poorly dressed he is a very friendly man and well like in our community and causes nobody any hassle. To end my comment, everybody whos had a go at mossbank should take a long look at themselves in the mirror and they'll see there not perfect.
  18. under 18s Thistle 0-5 Delting

No, i'm talking about how he said he never wanted to sign for Unst but he did anyway, and how he never wanted to leave Delting anyway....
