I would forgive the "big eck" if he left Scotland for a major european club e.g Champions League standard. I see why Walter left Scotland for Rangers but i bet Walter would have never have gone to Birmingham.

All comes down to cost. Not sure anbout further grant aid as I suspect the SFA use up their "quota" on senior county, Island Games, running costs etc?

It would have to run by the senior Association because they are affiliated to the SFA through the SJFA and a reprasentative team has to be affiliated to play in those type of competitions.

Not convinced that there are the tournaments available. Most of these things are run for kids (under 18) and those that are not tend to included pro or semi-pro set ups and would be beyond Shetland and hard to get into.

To crown a poor day the Russians fail to win. Ach well it means that there won't be many reasons to watch a lot of Euro 2008 on the telly.
