I saw it last night and thought it was good. But if i saw it and had not been to Shetland it would really put me off as Shetland looked so drab and boreing. I did not think the people were very nice to poor John, they all seemed a bit baffeled and bemused, but no wonder!

I support the industry. Sure there are a few cowboys, but most of those are now out of the industry now thankfully. But these few have given it a bad name at times. I dont know why salmon farming gets such a hard time when it is far better than most other forms of farming such as chicken etc. Chemicals are at a minimum and only used if necessary for the fishs health. Salmon Farming provides many rural high paying jobs, most sites are sited in the most rural locations. It is a very of important part of the Shetland economy. There is that birds eye (think its them) advert saying about wild salmon they use and how farmed has colouring in it. I think if you looked at most packets and tins of food you would discover they have colouring! So whats the big deal. people would not eat it if it was not the same colour as wild salmon. Just a pity most companies now are ultimatley owned by Norwegians.

I saw the News of the World on sunday on page 6 there was a half page spread saying if you wanted to visit exotic locations become a Shetland Islands Councillor! Very funny bit showing how absurd a lot of their trips were and how much they have wasted tax payers cash. Even had a map of the world showing where they went and pictures of the worst councillors. Best quote was Drew Ratter about that waste of time in India.

I found the bank of scotland a complete nightmare to deal with. They have been so incompetent with me its unbelivable.

Those Timmens are rubbish though. I could do with those inbreds going up in flames with that sour puss Lynn they stay with in a terrible house fire started by Paul as a bit of a lark instead of drowning some kittens for his kicks! Karl could try and save them and look the good guy to get him even more bonus points with the ladies. Zeik could get the blame and end up lynched by the good folk of Ramsey street. Why was Gordon Mitchels cost for ferries so much higher than everyone else? Unless he heads to Fair Isle every day!

Does anyone know why those stinking brats that stay with Susans sister katya is oriental? The other ones dont look that way. That boy Zek really is a sniveling wretch, wouldent mind him getting turned into hotdog meat by those gypsy Timmens. I thought Karls new bird is a bit of a dog as well, he can do so much better. You can tell hes still desperate to go sniffing around Susan again though. Izzys been looking a bit more haggered latley as well. mabey its from living with Paul. That Ned really is a goreless twit who needs to be impailed on a stake in Pauls garden as a warning to those that mess with Pauls ladies.

The Chapelle show is class. One of the funniest things on tv. The Rick James skit was comedy gold.

I have found out that the person stalking paul is pauls son Robert who hates his whole family and wants to destroy them, hes Elles brother. But this is the twist. He is pretending to be his good twin brother Cameron who is in a coma! He is surley a totally twisted evil guy! Good to see pauls genes are working, cant wait to see him in action being more evil than his pa. Bree is not her mum and dads bairn but was switched at birth by accident. Sky splits up from her boy friend Dylan after she shags the art teacher and he finds out. She then gets preggewrs to his brother stingray! If shes that easy I wish i was in ramsey street! Izzy tells Paul about Ned before he finds out and gets away with it all. That boreing guy Boyd gets killed, but thats ages off. I have no news on Karl, which is disapointing. Neibourghs really has it all!

Good idea, a whole island which is dedicated to makeing renewable energy would be a huge benifit to Shetland. Instead of just an island which drains money.

I had no idea what i wanted to do. I just went to UNI in to a course that could be used for a lot of jobs and took it from there. Do have to admit though that when UNI did end I thought I would easy find a job in Shetland useing my degree but it was not so!

Its the English mentality that they are the best and harping on about 1966 every game and games that have nothing to do with an England match that puts me off. I hope any other team than them will win. Just because they are next to Scotland is no reason to support them.

I think a lot of police think they are above the law for things like that.
