Interesting, I didn't have a loss of service tonight GR. I did have a gaming ping of 100-200ms between 8 and 10pm. Rebooted the router to no avail before pulling the plug for about 10 mins. Was fine after the reconnect. 99% of the time the failures for me are authentication failures on Plusnet's side. Connection to the exchange is just fine.

Wow 2 hours is bad

Everytime I go past the exchange i see a van there... or as near as damn it. The ETA fix time is: 29 Oct 10 Pft.

This is a good idea... I seem to rememer when living down south, there was an article in ST (it was delivered to us) that compared prices in all the country shops... By the way, you need to compare brands. The comparison of light bulbs means nothing, even with the same wattage, as you are not comparing like with like.

Hi do they have an office where you can go in and talk to them? We went to the place around the back of Toll Clock, but it was all shut up and didn't look in the least like an office! Perhaps this is a workshop of somekind? I googled it but the map came up with a location that, with streetview, didn't say anything about Bulter and Muilhern. Thanks!

Graham Keith on Yell fixed ours. He's the only accredited one on the islands. 01957 702003 Can be a bit hard to get hold of, but did a great job of claening and sorting ours. Did a bit of plumbing too while he was at it - did a good job. Would be interested to find out about yours running hot... On the lowest setting on ours, with heating pump off, it was so hot we had to keep on running away the water, and the cold tank upstairs was also boiling hot from the overflow into the into it! I opened the door to it and it was a sauna!! It got turned off again...
