Went for lunch at the Lerwick Hotel earlier this month and had an excellent meal.

Well, I think it's great. All publicity is good. We need all the help we can get. It is cheaper and easier to travel to Spain or Greece but we have lots to offer for those who make the effort so we need to encourage them and if this makes a difference then well done Promote Shetland, Frances, Jo, Daisy, Robert, Fivla and Vitamin.

And why would you want to translate it into Shetland/Shaetlan anyway? We can all read English....

Food at the Baltasound Hotel is excellent as is the service and staff.

Ask Dennis Coutts. He has a fair collection and will know the value. Other than that, the bank will give you the face value of them!

Baltasound Hotel food is excellent. Haven't been to Saxa Vord this year yet but last year it was rubbish. Hopefully they may have a new chef.

Totally agree with Man of Kent. We are being encouraged all over the place to recycle, not to chukk bruck etc and now they are cutting off a good recycling source.

It does state on one of their flyers that there are 4 berth outside cabins but have never actually seen one or heard of anybody who was able to access one! If it's not so, they should update their advert.
