As everybody knows, it's only a part time job (being a residential farrier in the Shetlands). But I would be ever so hapy to have one. Also hearing the rumours that going around now, the Shetland equine people would love to have a residential farrier. Hope all works out for you!

I did sometimes trim my ponies, but got in to some serious problems and one of my ponies got very lame. Now I will only get a farrier to trim but got no luck in getting a reliable one. Farriers know how to trim! If you could take on my ponies, this would be great becouse visiting farriers do not want to take on more ponies here. seems to me that they are only interested in shoeing and triming horses and stay away from small ponies!
