Where did your screen name come from?
Jeemsie1989 replied to JAStewart's topic in Anything & Everything Else
I spent summer '06 making tea for my friends Rachael, Cathy, Max and myself while rehearsing SYT's "A Midsummer Night's Dream." We spent most days before rehearsals sittiog around outside in the lovely sun, speaking, smoking and drinking tea! Hence the tea bitch! -

My one is my Dialect name and my year of birth. I was going to call myself "Le Chien d' The" or the Tea Bitch in English. Long story. -
I KNOW!!!! I miss Stacy so much!!!! Please come back!!!!!! WWE doesn't seem to have any MASSIVE mtches left for WM 25. Cena/ Orton and Cena/ Batista and Batista/ Orton and HHH/ Edge have already all hppened within the year. HHH/ Taker hasn't happened for almost 7 years though! No, that's a lie, they fought on SD! in late '08. Well, What about Cena/ 'Taker? Booked and marketed correctly, that match could be massive!

It was very good. Good acting, good movement, the msic was stunning and atmospheric the lighting was simple, stylish and clever. The one (admittedly small) down side was that the script wasn't fantastic, but that can be forgiven. Overall, 4 out of 5. -
Aye, but Blackman and Show weren't the calibre of worker that Angle or Orton are. That's why this match'll rock. The matches against Blackman & Show and remember for one high spot each. The rest of the matches were dirdge. Whereas, Angle carried Shane to a fantastic match @ KOTR 2001, which had great technique and high spots, and hopefully Orton will pull Shane to a similarly great match this year @ NWO. Also, as already asked, out of Shane and Orton: Who is face and heel?
-
They did this at last years NWO as well. Question: In the Orton/ Shane match, who is the face, and who is the heel? Shane v Orton should be Orton. Orton can carry a good match and Shane can provide mucho high spots. Remind yourselves of Kurt Angle v Shane MMcMahon @ KOTR 2001. Great Match.

I wasn't a fan of the Rocky Maivia gimmick, but I was a fan of Stunning Steve in ECW, but not in WCW. I agree, if they keep Orton on the right track, he could be the next Ric Flair, seriously. Who is Shane McMahon fighting @ NWO? Sorry, for the double post! I pressed "Submit" by accident too soon!

JBL is a fantasti colour commentator, but in-ring he still sucks. Massively. He's lazy, his positioning is sloppy, his punches are either out-right real (which is dangerous and unprofessional !watch ECW ONS 2005!) and weak and sloppy. He is also very unfit, (although give him his due, he is currently getting fitter, and currently is in his best physical shape ever.) A Pussification of the wrestlers, JAS? Get a grip man. Orton has done more juice jobs in his time than The Rock ever did already! Orton is a superb worker with great talent in the ring. He is convincing and believable. JAS, your ideas about pro-wrestling are very warped. I respect your opinions, but do question you understanding of how things happens and why. Royal Rumble '02 was very good, especially the period involving HHH versus Austin. (Hurricane Helms' entry was hilarious and fantastic!) Also, Christian is now officially a WWE wrestler again! Yahoo!

WWE shifted their stance in the wrestling world as they felt that they needed freshening up. If you look at the sifting era you are refering to, at the same time, HBK returned, The Rock left, the duff nWo angle happened, Kurt Angle started to suffer real neck problems, Austin started to really fall out with Vince and HHH moved full-time onto the booking committee. Aside from HBK returning, there's the reasons for it turning major crappo. ECW is rubbish now because WWE want it to be. Vince is determined to make people associate ECW with rubbish. The massive shift in love and adoration in the wrestling world to ECW after the release of the ECW DVD ("The Rise and Fall of ECW") and the success of ECW: One Night Stand made Vince nervous about the love for ECW so set out the destroy the memory of it. The decrease in Hardcore matches had to happen. Wrestling is tough enough as it is, working 4 nights a week, never mind putting your body through getting hit with chairs, put through tables, et al. It is just not viable. You obviously didn't watch ECW during its glory days ('95 to '97ish). ECW did glorify, brutal brawls but they also exeled at showing ace pure wrestling, with Benoit, Guerrero, Malenko, Too Cold Scorpio, Ron Simmons, RVD, etc. They also brought Lucha Libre to America with Rey Mysterio Jr, Psycosis, etc.

We haven't seen that in a long time because of the booking committee and the creative board, not because Orton said get rid of them! Orton doesn't dictate what happens in the company... HHH does! He's third in rank in the whole company! Orton is a phenomenal wrestler! Just because the attitude era no longer exists, you can't sh*t on everything that now does! Just because "The Age of Orton" doesn't make you mark out like the attitude era, it doesn't mean that it is sh*t! Orton is extremely talented and has an exceptionally bright future.
-
Absolutely agree with everything there, Dusty Rhodes! The reason you haven't seen barbed wire or thumb-tacks in ages is because WWE has a no-blood policy at the moment. Any blood you have seen has been drawn the hard way. Although, being WWE, they will no doubt change their minds again soon enough.

Portion of epic success! Serious Matt Hardy heel turn!!!! Here's an ace angle: As Edge stole Lita from Matt, Matt steals Vicki Guerrero from Edge! Class!
