  1. Jamieson and Smith sell them. Phone 693579.
  2. I have Blinky's one I think. Found it last night. I can take it along to work on Monday. But until then, I'd suggest the pencil and rubber band capo as described here: http://www.instructables.com/id/SL1W879FA190CYE/ Works a treat.
  3. I shall however only expect more of this: http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/7696/disguisedtroll.jpg First of all - I'm not a troll. I've watched the video and have a few points/questions to raise. Neils Harrit is a random person from a chemistry department in a Danish Uni. Does he have any qualifications? He could be the cleaner for all we know. The video then states 'According to a newly published scientific article.' ... which article? where published? by whom? who wrote it? who deemed it scientific? is the research peer reviewed? empirical? The news anchor introduces Neil Harret
  4. Has anyone read David Aaronovitch's recent book 'Voodo Histories'? He gives a convincing account as to why the 9/11, and many other conspiracy theories are a load of rubbish. I'd recommend it.

    Pot Noodles

Accoring to the front page of today's Guardian, the doner kebab slag noodle is suitable for Vegans too, as it contains absolutely no meat.
  6. BBC Radio Shetland would like any results, match reports etc too. Please email to radio.shetland@bbc.co.uk and we'll put them in the news.
  7. Nutella and Marshmallows. I swear it's amazing.
  8. If I were you I'd go to the top end of your budget and get a white Macbook. They are very good.
  9. Have PM's you about this. Jordan
  10. nederlander - have sent you a pm about this
  11. Can anyone tell me when the next AGM takes place?
  12. Big heavy wheelie bins could work wonders. Or those huge big things they have in Edinburgh.
  13. They do great deals on Malt Whiskey. This month I got a bottle of Jura for £17.99 (£7 off!).
  14. These may fall outwith the dates you are in Shetland, but might be worth checking anyways: http://www.shetland.gov.uk/community/Summerholidayprog2008.asp
  15. Which issue of the Times was this written in?
  16. I have never felt unsafe on the street or anywhere else in Shetland, nor have I been witness to anything 'bad' that I have not been aware of anywhere else in the UK or abroad. I think folk are the same wherever you go. Granted, there are a few bad pubs or areas around Lerwick, but they are easily avoided, and not everyone is going to be horrible anyways.
  17. Shetland Arts said that the earliest builders may be on site is August. As far as I'm aware tenders are being invited now or soon. There is still a grant of around £900k+ to be passed at the Council Development Committee which meets on 21/08/08.
  18. I thought it was very good too. However, the seating plan ruined 50% of the performance as you couldn't see the dancers legs!
  19. Hi, did anyone else go to the Ballet at Clickimin on Saturday? If so, what's your thoughts?
  20. So pleased! Well done everyone who supported. See you there x
  21. I think this is their new thang, same line up too: http://www.myspace.com/captainandthekings
  22. Is anyone going to the SBC meeting on Friday?
  23. Brilliantly put BF. I for one agree with everything you say. I could also fill this board with examples of brilliance in respect of culture in Glasgow, but this is not the place.
