I was very impressed with the standard of Unsts play. Great game and a credit to the Parish Cup itself. Well done lads!

Unst 2 Whitedale 4
-
Yes I home this weekend and cannot wait to see the game. I have to say Whitedale will start as favourites, but Unst now have some very good players. Should be an excellent game!

Heard it was controversial with Orkney employing physical tactics which Mr Bristow thought was going too far.

I was at the Clickimin on Saturday and have to say I was embarrassed to be a Shetlander. The druncan loutish behaviour was a disgrace. Shetland struggles to attract top class entertainment and I cannot praise the promoter high enough for getting these guys up here. Thanks to a certain minority our reputation is tarnished.

What was the score in yesterdays Manson Cup Final?
-
Would it be possible for someone to post local A League and Parish Cup results on a regular basis, as I no longer reside in Shetland.
-
I never played against him, but I'm told he was one of the very best Shetland has ever produced. Maybe it would be a fun to pick your favourites from a given decade.
-
I totally agree, but I canna speak for people I didna see. I'm in my early 40s

On Saturday evening the conversation in the pub moved to who the greatest parish cup side was. Great debate was had all round, this was my thoughts -I'd be interested in others. GK Ian Morrison (Whitedale) RB Leighton Flaws (Southend) LB Peter Peterson (Delting) CB Merv Jamison (Delting) CB John Montgomerie (Whalsay) RM Gordon Lawson (Sandwick) CM Robbie Irvine (Whalsay) CM Ross Jamieson (Delting) LM Stuart Hay (Delting) CF Michael Williamson (Whalsay) CF Mike Davis (Whitedale) Subs Craig Dinwoodie (Delting) Ian Irvine (Whalsay) Ewan Odie (Sandwick) David Clubb (Delting) Ross McDougal (Delting)

Stewart Regan today gave a welcome update on the SFA’s on-going investigation into Rangers. In response to Hugh Adam’s (ex Director at Ibrox) comments in today’s Daily Mail who alleges that this financial cheating started in the mid 90s, Regan said: “We are, however, aware of the most recent allegations made against Rangers FC today by a former director of the club. We shall investigate this matter thoroughly before making any further comment.†http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2109018/Rangers-accused-misleading-SFA-secret-deals.html http://www.scottishfa.co.uk/scottish_fa_news.cfm?page=2111&newsCategoryID=36&newsID=9417 SFA president, Campell Ogilvie, was general secretary and director of Rangers from 1978 until 2005. News broke about HMRC’s dispute over Rangers Employment Benefit Trust in 2010, you knew then, I knew then, the SFA knew then, but Ogilvie was subsequently elevated to the role of SFA president in 2011. He is still on the SFA board. We have waited almost two years the hear the SFA would investigate this matter. Now, with all the old certainties crumbling down around them, they realise they must act. If proved this is what may be facing us with the re-writing of history.............. Does this mean that Celtic will have the right to sue Rangers for the Champion Leaugue money Rangers received during this period if Rangers are stripped of the titles won during this period?

Has the Parish Cup draw been made yet?
