  1. Do you have any idea how much that would cost, given that not only would to have to pay for the tests themselves, you'd have to pay at least two people ( one male, one female ) to spend all day watching people urinate into test tubes ? Ah, you may need to get with the times, drug tests can be done, with sweat, sputum and hair folicals. And y should folk in trusted positions not be tested, especially as life or limb could be at stake.. A drugged up lorry driver with 40 tonnes of killing machine, no fun there now.
  2. So, if you do not take cannabis, these markers may not appear... So, your comment is a little dodgy and bold.....and is messin a head up not a mental thing...you are obviously in favour of the drug but you need to find some more convincing arguments, Dr or is it proff justlooking?
  3. I hired from Grantfield, 4 days, 2 drivers, and collision nearly 125. Was quoted 120 from Bolts
  4. Let us hope the next lot as you say put tax up on drink... Could be the Scottish Nationalists.. So, who should succeed GB, no one has answered that? ss, again you advoid answering a direct question, so I feel your comments may be driven by another fuel.
  5. Piffle Your jealous. never mind.. I have yet seen an office worker build a road since the Tories were in power. Another brash comment.
  6. right back to topic, the title of this is if GB should remain Primeminister, not if Labour remains in power.. ss, you are quite small minded and cannot see beyond the walls you have built yourself with you brash and uneducated comments, so I repeat my question And remember, it has to be a current labour MP, cos I will repeat, tis GB we are talking about not Labour.. If you are not a Labour Party Member, YOU will have no say in the matter..
  7. Given that you need a survival suit or - at the very least - a sleeping bag to survive the temperature overnight, that's not that helpful. I also like to have my laptop on me to quell the intense boredom. Why should I have to drag everything with me when I go to the shop/bathroom/bar? I'd love to know where security put these "high risk" bags. In a secure, steel-lined ordnance disposal unit...? Or do they just heave them in a cupboard somewhere? Total nonsense. My main bag goes on the trolly, and my hand luggage is a small rucksack, with a computer and other stuff needed to while a way the night, oh, my camera too...the sleeping bag can be left on the couch, I dont think that the security guys are that dim. So, also, would you want to leave your computer alone? And you have to drag everything cos you have too, y not get a locker bag with wheels.. Tis just a bit of thought and a modicom of advanced planning.. They throw them over. Would you not doo the same, it does sound that you dont like the boat much...
  8. Ah, maybe your partners personal oppinion, but she does not run the council or work for HR. As you know, you do tend to get more initiatives directed at you as a council employee. I have found that folk don't like training in my sector, cos they think they know it already, they usually find something in it that can help them..and I know, the course fee of 50 pounds is outragous, but there is also a fear of ebarasment, either of getting it wrong, or being asked to think out side of the comfort zone...I am not saying this applies in any directly to your partner, but as a professional, at least she could see it may do someone some good and would direct constructive comments if and when she takes part.
  9. Who should we have instead or are you going to leave it up to the club to decide?
  10. Found this... No Date as yet but will keep a look out http://www.rockstanza.info/node/816
  11. Well, you are slow there, here within these posts are folks feelings and community wants and thoughts, it would be crass for a council employee to ignore these pages. Again your piety outshines ours.
  12. Perhaps if you teach them to be able to laugh at themselves they may never be stuck for entertainment... Right joke over.... I used to have a teacher called Miss Turtle She taught us well.... Tis good to be able to laff a bit... Folk can get so uptight at work that it can reduce their +ve output, so, a little time out won't hurt.... And folk do better if they know they can have a smirk or two at work..
  13. Right, where do we start... National Minimum Wage Devolved Power for Scotland Record levels of literacy and numeracy in schools Free fruit for kids at school Free nursery places Overseas aid doubled Free entry to museums Child trust funds Free busses for over 60's Banned fox hunting Paternaty leave for fathers Gift Aid Disability Rights Commision Good Friday Agreement brokered A right to four weeks paid holiday nearly 2,000,000 folk lifted from poverty Free TV licences Well, I am not going to list them all, not enough time.. But, even though you may not personally agree with some, they are factual and have helped the country one way or another, either by helping folk or stopping cruelty to some degree.. There are also many more folk in further education, more teachers, free milk again in schools and the introduction of Child Tax Credits.. More women are now in places of power than before, there was more women in the Houses of Parliament.
  14. ss, then how do you know how many visited the Isles for the festival and y could more come to see a larger gig... Oh, here is what I asked...
  15. Perhaps you could look here, more folk than you think it is a good thing, do a google search and find out, here is a link for starters.... http://www.cancercenter.com/complementary-alternative-medicine/laughter-therapy.cfm
  16. That's excellent, I am glad for you. The brokers will do all sorts of insurance and in no way am I related to them, an excelent service. I know there are some +ve folk out there.
  17. I know that one guy is swinging the lead. He had already used up his holidays, being that there is no physical examination, and he had got a prescription for the anti viral drug, he clean and green, unless he really does get it.
  18. http://www.speedtest.net/result/522392899.png Not very good bein only 30 miles fae server
  19. There are some coughs and sneezes, a few have hay fever, some are just a little bit lax, on guy actuall used to spit where he was working and blowing out his nose... Tis best to be on the side of caution, my partner has diabeties and some other issues so best to stay out.... Thanx for your post...
  20. Will have to work it in with time offa work, not local to museum at moment....but I may e mail....
  21. So, you are saying that less than 1000 folk visited for the folk festival, and the same folk went to each of the gigs? Even if that band on that night was one they were not too fond of... So your explanation may be a bit simplistic.. Now, tell us how many came off the ferry or plane for the festival? I suppose you have to include the players too, they went to a few gigs.
  22. Well, 6 folk at work have gone sick, the policy is to follow government guidlines. And you cannot refuse to work with folk who have it in their household but not showing signs of the virus themselves. So my policy is not to sit in the t room in the morning and afternoon, there are 40+ men chattin in a room with no open windows. So, I sit in my van.. Have to be careful for my partner...
