Does anyone know the whereabouts of Donald (Donnie) Sutherland, father Andrew Sutherland, Lunnasting, mother Barbara Leask, Nesting. Born around 1905-1910. Bayanne lists him as living, does anyone know how I might contact him?

In "The dialect and place names of Shetland; two popular lectures" by Jakob Jakobsen he says: "'Pettina Shaigo' is another instance of the name 'Pett.' The place so called is a bight in South Yell." Modern maps (even the 1880 OS map) dont seem to have this placename as far as I can see- any idea where this bight is?

Hi, does anyone know what the three buildings are that are at cumliewick, sandwick, just up from nicolsons noost and the herring geo? One is a very unusual shape, semi circular on one side. The other is a small rectangular buillding with high gabels. The third is just one high wall remaining with deep set windows and holes where the upper floor has been supported. Any info apprreciated.
