  1. Look a 2.36 and onwards in the video. Remind you o' onybody?
  2. Crap, just noticed Bucky o' Hare has already been posted. Oh well. It's so epic it could maybe go up twice? This one's not so much a theme tune, more of an intro. Super ted!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1lTt1jZekw How camp is spotty!?
  3. Anybody ever watch Bucky o'Hare? The most epic cartoon theme tune ever!! It sounds like the mutant spawn of the Beastie Boys and Meatloaf! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nuRftXKn-9w
  4. My fare home was about £27 with the islander discount last week. That was with a bed in a four berth shared cabin. Quite often there is only one or two other people in the cabbin with you. If you want, I think you can pay slightly extra for a bed in a two berth.
  5. Do you think if you were passing by you would stop? I reckon I would have. That guy was amazing. I'm amazed more people didn't give him anything at all. It must have taken some guts to play a Strad out there too. I wouldn't even consider busking with my gibson accoustic, and it's worth about 1000 times less! I suppose the number of people with an appreciation of classical music or even fiddle music in that context would've been fairly limited.
  6. Ooooooh, yun looks familiar Njugle. I think I might'o seen yun een in a comic shop while I wis in Amsterdam. If no yun een, wan very similar. Have another! http://www.delaurenti.net/images/ww219.jpg As soon as I've feenished dis uni project, I'm goin tae hay tae print aff yun maze!
  7. No. Ha ha ha! "Flux Capacitance"??? What a ridiculously erroneous assumption. You sir, are erroneous, shallow and pedantic! The X axis does infact represent Philadelphia cheese on my shoulders. This is what drives the Spoot-greased, steamed kitten turbines. This is harder than castin' peats we Greenpeace fir a tushker!
  8. I have een too Malachy. Mine looks lik this. I can make tea with it, boil rice in it and power anything from a small island community to all of Western Civilisation .... forever. This is how it works... http://blogs.warwick.ac.uk/images/andrewingram/2005/11/02/graph.png
  9. Absolutely Malachy. We all want this byre goat tae be weel and truly speared! I'll pledge a fiver on the condition I'm in Shetland tae see the demonstration. Would consider a tenner if a machine was involved...
  10. Hell, so wid I. £1 each fae 50 folk. Nae bother on this here Forum.
  11. Perhaps it's because your descriptions of how your system works leaves so much open to assumption and interpretation. Everything can be explained using written word, and if not, post another pie-chart! Hit us with it. Describe in length and detail exactly how this system works, as you have yet to do. Surely you must have done this before somewhere? Even a battleship has a written manual(!), and as you said -
  12. Fir de own good, I probably shouldna tell d, but... As if it's not all bad enough already, I've just discovered the sequel....
  13. Sorry. This is purely for my own amusement. * Laughing
  14. Ahhhhhhhhhhh. Ok. I need tae stop this NOW. Must................ write.......... essaaaaaaayy!
  15. There's a song which might help... Lady Marmalade? Honey Pie? Jam? (Micheal Jackson I think...) Brown Sugar? I'm thinkin sugar, spice an all things nice. :tmbup;
  16. On a polo isn't polo written twice and that's why there are four? Tae be honest, I think the majority of this quiz makes no sense. Just listen to the noise the cat makes. In all seriousness, I think it has had some kind of effect on me. I actually dreamt about it last night. Anybody got the answer tae the question aboot girls? There's Jam, Marmalade, Sugar and Honey as possible answers, but none of them seem to work. I've just been using a skip fir that een... that and the timed horseshoe question. "Arsefacey"
  17. Hmmm... Shot in the dark, ever go to the Hostel bigdandancingman? I reckon du should go fir it. The council has been lacking in representation for the younger generations in Shetland for as long as I can remember. I'm sure du wid come as a breath o fresh air, and mibee even a keek up da muckle sphincter.
  18. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... *grinding teeth* Got to Q80-ish then gave up. It's infuriating... although the Cat question did offer some light relief in that it doesn't seem possible to get it wrong. The only thing computer related I've ever become this addicted tae wis yun Age of Empires game, luckily that was short lived. I think I need a run on da motorbike noo tae blow aff some quiz-generated steam. See ya later!
  19. Ok, totally stuck on the Armageddon een - Q.66 I think it is. Not only that, my peerie sister has also become addicted. She needs to study for her exams Fjool, have ye no mercy?
  20. Ok. Whats the 42 een? Aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggghhhhhhhhhhhh! I have a 4000 word essay to write! Damn you Fjool!
  21. Anybody read "Royal Hunt of the Sun"? It's the story of how 167 Spanish conquistadors overthrew the Incan empire of 2 million. This really did take place too. I noticed when I was watching 300 for the first time that there were a few lines of dialogue and narration that seem to be plagiarized from this book. But, still one of my favourite films this year (after Pan's Labrynth).
