Much activity today - looks like the Kalmar is on the move. She has been bounced around a lot these past couple of days and nights with the wind. Dont know where she is being moved to but assume it is the new pier out past Northlink where the Bibby Bergen was due to go and where the Sans Vitesse was.

CATS NEED YOU!
Just under a year ago I became a cat "fosterer" for Shetland Cats Protection. I took on two 7 year old sisters who hadn't had much human contact for a few years and were very wary however, they have both settled down and now crave my company... if I'm in a room, they want to be in the same room.
Caring for these beautiful girls has been a brilliant experience and it's very satisfying to see the change in them - I had doubts at one stage that they'd ever come round, but they have, and now they've become perminent residents.
If you're looking a cat then please consider fostering or adopting from Cats Protection, whether its a kitten or mature cat, lap cat or bare-clawed hunter/killer for the croft, there are many deserving fur-balls just waiting for you!

A big thankyou to the guys and girls in Housing.
Some people who are close to me were having problems and needed some suitable accommodation sorting. SIC Housing were efficient, courteous and understanding.

Basically, it's a way for the moderation team to increment a users warning points and show to the community how not to act per se.
The idea of Shetlink was an online community that'd ideally attempt to travel along the lines of Forum use - guidelines and netiquette and Terms & Conditions / Privacy Policy along with just some general manners and common sense!
An online sitting room, if you will, one where people can come in and enjoy themselves.
