  1. go into your start menu and click run then type temp and hit enter, delete everything you can in the box that pops up go into run again but this time type %temp% and delete everything that you can inside the box that pops up last but not least go back into start menu and type prefetch hit enter and delete everything you can out of that box this will delete most temp files you do not need to have. or you can just re install windows to give you a major chunk of your space back. or upgrade your hard drive as you can get 500gb drives for very cheap now
  2. this scam has been going round for as long as i remember. if people are stupid enough to fall for it then it says something about the person. Remember if something seems too good to be true.............. it usually is. idiots...........................idiots everywhere

  4. i think you are slightly confused about the difference between a processor and RAM RAM can be compared to a person's short-term memory and the hard disk to the long-term memory. the short-term memory focuses on work at hand, but can only keep so many facts in view at one time. if short-term memory fills up, your brain sometimes is able to refresh it from facts stored in long-term memory. a computer also works this way. if RAM fills up, the processor needs to continually go to the hard disk to overlay old data in RAM with new, slowing down the computer's operation. Unlike the hard disk which can become completely full of data so that it won't accept any more, RAM never runs out of memory. It keeps operating, but much more slowly than you may want it to. so i hope this has cleared this up, a processors speed determines how fast a pc/laptop can run. oh and that specs you posted are all pretty good but the h80 water cooling is noisy and not all that good (custom ones look alot better and run alot quieter) why in the love of god is there 2x 420gb SSD's? RAID0 with SSD is almost pointless
  5. under 500 would be pushing a little to hard, maybe around 850 mark for a half decent gaming rig. there is gpu's that cost around 3/4 the price of that rig that would be pretty good for a few years of gaming at the highest settings
  6. gaming utilizes 4 cores (any processor with 3,2 or 1 core will struggle with framerate issues and you will need to get some amazingly good air cooler or just use water cooling as it will make the temps rocket up) and to pick up a quad core intel processor is a bit more expensive, even though intel processors are miles better than amd there is still some good quad processors like the black edition 965 which a really good processor gaming on a pc can not be done cheaply as you will end up frying your computer with spikes in temps, lower processing speeds which causes framerate issues etc... plus the evolution of gaming has come a great way in the past 8 years and is still moving on pretty fast. crysis was what gamers did their benchmarks on as it was the most demanding game (that was in 2007), now its metro 2033 or BF3 that means if you buy a budget gaming pc you will only be able to play new games for around 6 months to a year on the lowest settings
  7. not really that different as the only cpu's you could go for is AMD, and you can only really work with a handful of motherboards/GPu's and ram
  8. to be fair a pc for £500 will prob be only to play a few of the newest games on a horrid setting making it look crap.i have built a few pc's in my time and have yet to see a good £500 gaming pc that will last. most only last a year and cant keep up with the graphics of games can i bee cheeky and get the specs just so i can see what you are putting together
