  1. Refreshing insight from a traders perspective, at last fear seems to be taking hold amongst frantic clueless politicians, pumping in trillions of fresh notes, Greek default, headless chicken mode.
  2. I blame the police .0001% for the riots on this occasion, They just provided the spark. Many areas of the country now are tinderboxes, volatile and ready to burst into flames at the slightest trigger, as is perfectly self evident on this occasion. The blame lands squarely on the shoulders of do gooder left wing politics which has decimated the country by stealth over the last decade and more. They are reaping what they have sown, once the cuts really begin to filter through and we get rid of the 180bn deficit, get ready for some real rioting, we aint seen nothing yet..
  3. Mr Gaddafi recently tried that one out, didnt quite go to plan.
  4. We probably could as a community look into setting up a non-profit limited company/association, initially put together by volunteers, call it something like the fuel users alliance. Apply for startup grants/cheap loans, when setup import fuel from wherever is cheapest in Europe, Limit profits to only cover company running costs so all our local outlets can buy fuel for the same or even cheaper than mainland wholesale prices, it would create a few jobs for some that are being lost right now, win win all round, all partners are effectively volunteers so no profiteering. Just an idea
  5. Things are still looking bad the nuke plant. Goes to show just how risky this type of power generation is.
  6. They couldn’t care less about the rest of us, it's the limelight, the power and the glory they lust after, we dont need to look much further than our own MSP. Until we change how politics is funded/conducted in this country, expect more of the same regardless of who you vote or dont vote for.
  7. Your welcome, A good book I reccomend is The Emperor's New Clothes. its a good book.
  8. a group of grown men dressed up as some sort of effeminate camp hommage to vikings, looking and sounding beyond ridiculous, how they qualify to call anyone an idiot it's a laughing stock, a joke to the rest of the world
  9. This has some serious potential

  12. They could save a heap of cash and just use simple branding, Something simple like this for the logo would be perfect. Not much difference in terms of shape to the ingenious "pride of place" one they spent a small fortune on. http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs50/f/2009/304/0/e/White_Elephant_Logo_by_Mehranmahmoudi.jpg http://www.shetlandmarketing.org/images/logo_pride_of_place.jpg
  13. Green, lefty enviro-hippies, the rise of the new National socialist German workers party, If Hitler could have had a red button like that in place of Zyklon B, no doubt he would have been a happy man. Here we see the ugly side of the left ideology. Hard to believe our taxes fund this. Sickening. http://www.1010global.org/no-pressure http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JfnddMpzPsM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JfnddMpzPsM
  14. A great pope song by Tim Minchin, sums it up perfectly. one or two swear words.
  15. Same, If I stated my views on the catholics cult, 'religion' whatever term one would like to use to describe their filthy disgusting evil sect, I'd be banned too!
  16. if this is the highlight of the news then its not worth watching.
  17. Our friends at it again http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1309136/Lifted-like-rag-doll-hurled-cell-Shocking-video-police-brutality--5ft-2in-tall-59-year-woman.html Will the officer responsible be jailed, of course not, police are above the law.
  18. Great idea George, You could also have a separate pool and breed some for meat, the guests could also enjoy some nice dolphin steaks or kebebs too for the full dolphin experience, you could have a nice barbecue area, guests could pick the one they want, I think your onto a winner.
  19. splendid, should be a cracking course, quicker they get the bulldozers on site the better.
  20. Seals are the most innocent animals in the ocean, and should be treated like dogs? I hear you.. Does your wife prefer Pal or Winnalot?
  21. How low could we push council wages until they make a dash to the private sector? probably very low, we should use a bit of free market thinking, I'm talking about council workers who earn above £20,000 per year, not those who do most of the physical work who are on less than £20,000 per year. The council is not there to create employment, its for providing basic services efficiently for which we pay our taxes. I am not happy paying tax to subsidise public sector jobs. I would happily sacrifice all the non essential dross for a big cut in tax. Just heard mentioned possible 40% cuts for the year after.
  22. your off on the sick because your not able to work, never have i ever criticized anyone for that, i'd never wish an illness on anyone, best of luck getting well again.
  23. Proove this you (***Mod Edit - Baby talk removed***) Prove to me that the majority of those on benefits are scamming the state! Go on, give me proof of this. Or get down own your knees and beg forgiveness from every single person who has ever had a day off work because they were ill. And thank the Lord that those same rules that protected those people are protecting YOU! yep, straight to the level of juvenile name calling I didnt say they were scamming the state, what they are doing is perfectly fine under the current lax system, unfortunately people who are genuine, who are unfit for work who would give anything to be back at work get tarred with the same brush, the fault lies with system as it currently stands, expect this new lot to tighten things up a bit, there will be plenty of squealing to come from the lefties no doubt. "Or get down own your knees and beg forgiveness from every single person who has ever had a day off work because they were ill. And thank the Lord that those same rules that protected those people are protecting" I'm sorry but thats unfathomable. I'm talking about the work shy, not those who are genuinely immobilised due to illness.
  24. I have no problems with people who genuinely need the subsidy to live, like disabled people, people with real debilitating illness, or from a genuine lack of employment, but a large percentage who are on benefits are on them because they can not be ar$ed to get their fat backside away from the sofa for more than 5 mins at a time. There is/was plenty of jobs in the UK, no excuses. Thats why we have so many poles and eastern Europeans here doing the work that our fat lazy benefit scroungers cant be bothered to do. an abundance of work out in the fields picking fruit & veg, loads of cleaning, cooking, farm labouring, food production and other labouring jobs all on offer over the past 10 years, good honest healthy work, but why go out into the fields and toil when we can sit home eating junk food, watching Jeremy kyle with our backsides glued to the sofa while some other mug will happily subsidise us. I can understand in times of recession for the numbers on benefits to go up temporarily, but not in boom times, benefit claims should have been getting much lower, the leftie labour parasite has led us up the $hit creek once more, thank god they have gone, bring forth the cuts.
  25. governments and bankers vs the people, we lose http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3Dtxp9wrhs&feature=player_embedded http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=newsarchive&sid=a15fJjgCvhSw Money can buy just about anyone http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2010/may/17/hsbc-appoints-ruth-kelly-labour http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/7186975.stm
