Hi, Any news on the club this week? Do we have too much wind, Not enough wind or Just enough???

Any news on when the club is starting this year?? Also any advice on boots?? I'm guessing the thicker ones would be best? Cheers

Thanks, I knew there must be someone on here that knew more than me. I will phone the number on the directory later. Stupidly I actually looked at the community directory but looked under sailing........should have looked over the whole list....oops !!!! Now anyone else brave enough to come with me? I don't want to be the only person who don't have a clue!!!

Anyone, anything?? Someone must know someone....I remember as a kid watching people windsurf, especially in the summer holidays. There must still be people who do it???

Hi I was wondering if there are any windsurfers on this forum who could give me any useful info? I'm thinking of taking it up as a hobby! How fit/ strong do u need to be? Is it easy to learn and is there anything I can do at home to make learning easier? Cheers

Thanks for all your replies so far. Looks like a plan then but I am fairly sure I need a ramp to get under the plastics....anyone know of a cheap garage with ramp and compressor to do it for me?? Cheers

Gosh fast replies...thanks. Its a 2004 Mercedes, but I think its starting to go rusty underneath the plastics. Why would the garage charge more???

Hi, it has been suggested that I Waxoyl my new (second-hand) car. Does anyone here have any experience with Waxoyl? I have a few questions... 1 - Is it worth it, (does it help prevent rust)? 2 - Is it expensive? 3 - Is it best to elk it on with a paintbrush or a high pressure sprayer. 4 - Any one know a garage that will do it (the car seems to have plastic underneath which would presumably need to be taken off). Hi thanks for the replies so far. I'm starting to wonder if my idea needs too fine a detail? I have described my design to a tattoo artist who said it was possible but suggested I get something from the book as my first tattoo. (That didn't impress me as I want my tattoo as it means something to me! and its the old one I'm getting!!) Any one have any idea on what is/isn't possible regards detail, for example if I wanted an outline of a 5 pointed star approximately 6 - 8 mm point to point would this be possible??

Hi I know there are a few tattooists mentioned on here already but I would like my tattoo done properly first time. A friend from school designed me a custom tattoo about 12 years ago, unfortunately Iv lost it so I need someone to re draw it. I have been told by a few people that I would need a skilled artist due to my design, the colours and shading. I also have a very light scar and a skin condition. (I know I have spent the past 12 years considering if its a good idea or not, and waited to see if I would grow out of it. I have also spoken to a doctor who says a good tattooist should be able to tattoo me even with my skin condition.) I would like advice on what questions to ask, how to know if someone is good or not. Any kind of guidelines on approx price, its no more than 5cm square and 3 colours. Cheers
