VINYL VIYNL VINYL!!!!!! I use 2 x Technics 1210 mk5's, 1 x Technics 1210 mk2 with a Behringer DJX 750 mixer. i will never variate to cds or mp3, i have used every method of mixin and vinyl will never be beaten for me. i also hate mp3 quality sound, the bitrates do my head in. PLUS vinyl is so much easier to mix when you mixin drum and bass, coz its all 8 bar loops. For producing im using Reason 4. Pete no one is forcing it apon you or anyone, and im not asking for you to play it on your radio. im asking if people would be interested in the idea. you obviously arent and i respect that, its your decision. the idea of holding a nite is firmly in my head and i appreciate the responce from all those who show an interest. drum and bass is already mainstream already and follow on genres like dubstep, break beat and j-tek are comin in fast. electronica has a well established base in the music industry, and there is proof of this in shetland by people listening to house and trance. im trying to push the new generation of mucic forwards so that people can make up their own minds. new times, new people, new music....

zebbidy, thats not the attitude needed to spread new music now is it? you have to have enthusiasm and passion for your love of music and sittin on your hands sayin itll never happen will get nothing done. metalca man you look like you understand the need for more of a variety of music. the same old will allways get boring, but it is hard introducing new styles into an already settled community. but that said, whats the harm in trying????
