  1. I wonder who the pea brain in the black truck was, who came barrelling from his lane straight at me, west of Bixter yesterday at 1.15 pm. He just managed to yank the truck away at the last moment, leaving me nauseated. Who are you, nitwit? Where you on your phone? Changing a cd? Full of crack-cocaine?
  2. Every spring there were loads of peewees nesting all around our place. Now there are none. What has happened to them? Does anyone know? Can it be that the cold and long winter killed them off? They are migrating birds, but for years they have stayed here all winter, so maybe the last one has got them. Does anyone know anything about this?
  3. Oh, that is my mind set at rest. I think it is brilliant and do not want to miss an episode. waffie, in hiding under the stairs.
  4. Hello, does anyone know a good streaming site for Lost? I managed to get the first 8 episodes of series 5, but it seems impossible to find episode 9.
  5. Oh no! This is meant to be Marjolein... what's going on?! ARGH!
  6. What?! But how it is now always gives us an extra holiday! Plus lots of folk have to work on Saturdays anyway,
  7. http://www.portalmix.com/club/revista/curioso/Jingle_Bells_Reversed.swf Do not forget to switch on your speakers to listen to the hidden message. Greetings from beyond Bixter, waffums.
  8. American Beauty. Must be one of the most brilliant films ever. Kevin Spacey rules!
  9. Yon must hae been aafil. We have tiscali, 14.99 a month. We went to Tiscali from Freeseve, as their broadband was too restrictive and for the same money Tiscali offered a better deal.
  10. I am in the older people bracket. Not bad at all, really.
  11. A few years ago we were all going to be eaten by the ebola virus.
  12. Grantfield was my favourite store in Lerwick. The staff were all very friendly and the stuff in the shop was just so much better and more varied than anywhere else. I used to trudge there through the wailing winds and driving rain, pushing a pram or dragging a toddler with me. I must say that friendliness in shops cuts both ways. I was put off in some shops by the total indifference of some of the staff. And now I work in a shop myself and am sometimes amazed by the downright rudeness of certain customers who will walk in, ignoring you, talking loudly on mobiles, not even looking at you when you put their messages in a bag and change their money. Thank goodness that doesn't happen too often, though. River Island, peerie_flo? Lol.
