I'm lookin for a peerie bit of advice aboot my bass, I have a Fender P-Bass an a Fender 5 String J-Bass. I have the P-Bass tuned to Eb Ab Db Gb an currently I have me J-Bass 5 string tuned to B Gb B E Ab for playing along we a Drop B tuned electric guitar. Is dir a better tuning I could use on my J-bass for drop B. Wan problem is, I dunna lik da soond of da jazz bass, its very metallic and twangy soonding I want a warmer mellower tone lik my precision. Da precison is active, an da jazz is passive, so obviously dis will be an issue. I just wondered if dirs some sorta string/pickup combination I could use to achieve a warmer tone. Am willing to try a few modifications afore I resort to looking for a different bass. Am no very clued up on either bass or da tunings, so any help is greatly appreciated.

yeah, its just a peerie 15" thing but it has built in DVB, strange how it doesna find any channels.

I can tune in an find freeview channels we me big tv in da sitting room, but when i search using my peerie tv in da kitchen i can find no channels. both using da same aerial, anybody got any ideas why dis should be?

does anybody ken if I need a certain kind of freeview aerial, an does it have to go ootside or could it go in da loft? I have a peerie indoor aerial but it doesna seem to be able to find any channels.

My sources in da couch next to me, says dat da bus driver probably made the wrong decision, but if sitting a driving test, da slow driver would probably have failed for putting idder road users in a dangerous situation, and the highway code apparently states dat you should let other road users past if you're causing a hold up. Wish I hed seen it personally den I wid ken whit am spikkin aboot
