Hi D.K its a 2009 netgear dgn2000 i think oniewie i found out whether its of intrest or not.. fibre optic will not really give us a faster ping as all electromagnetic and light waves E.G microwave, radiowaves, travel at or around the speed of light... you learn something new every day (god i hope this is right or shet-peat's gona bust my ass )

Plusnet said the same thing to me D.K but the results i got from wholesale and speedtest.net this morning are about 2mb apart, in wholesales favour, im going to text them back later if mine dips tonight again.. they also mentioned some loop thing as a fault???!!!

I think i read on an earlier post about the posibality of gas workers using up peak time conectivity for skyping and streaming movies?? i never found out the outcome.. but it could make sense as at bed time till tea time it seems ok!!!
