Thank you shetlandpeat, I know it's dangerous and total and Petrofac refused to stop their works when I requested them to. They at the same time were moving heavy haulage lorries full of grit or sand through a very narrowed road causing the lorries to clip the verges. Tomorrow we can look forward to the same but they will be moving an abnormal load through the day. Not a happy shetlander.

I don't have the unlimited package but connection speed is ahead of bt , in comparison all their packages are ahead , and anytime ive needed them its been a short time on the phone with helpful friendly staff . I moved the line rental there too .

The caravan site at Annesbrae and I think at the Jubilee as well were evacuated and badly damaged in the New Years morning storm in the early nineties. Many caravans were blown over or torn apart that morning. They were removed shortly after that. Maybe not the greatest long term solution in Shetland.

Well if your caravan does get blown over oh dear how sad never mind you would then be homeless and the SIC would have to house you.The old tricks are always the best.

Cheapskate way to get a few more year out of it is masonry paint, which nobody will agree is the better , oil base or water base . The cure is to skelp them off and renew
