Ok so when we get the 5p off a liter what the bloody good is that going to be as by the time it comes into use it will have gone up by 10 bloody pence ,why o why do we keep getting punished for living on an island

I think u might be right 5,6,10,and then maybe even as far as 20pence up in price ,i mean christmas is coming Lol

We had a friend up for a few days and he was saying that the price of fuel in dundee was only £126.9. And up here it is £144.9 ,,is it me or are we being taken for a ride My parents live just outside glasgow and they pay £134.9. Still a big price jump . Come on ppl of shetland dont u think the goverment need to think again 5p wont even dent what we pay .

WHY o WHY did that boat sail south in this weather . Yes i no ppl were warned if they did not want to sail ,yes the choice was yours . The north boat will not sail in less sometimes ,come on northlink get a grip . Now the poor ppl on that boat that are no doubt going what were we thinking are going to be evn more brassed of about having to sail to rosyth along with the fact they are more than likely going to be ill. I am hopeing that we get something totaly new along with new boats that can sail in the kinda weather we get here and maybe even some cheeper fairs and not this constant Rip Us Off that we all seam to go through why is it just because we live on this stunning and fantastic island must we losse out . Are we not alowed to get cheep fairs ? Change is needed now .

Hi i was just wondering if any body had seen the HUGE price diffrence between sound garage at 150.9 and leasks garage who is 145.9 . How can we have a 5p diffrence when it is from the same company ? Just as i thought rip us off ,come on GIVE US A BREAK .

Why are we all shouting about VE and arguing about there wind turbines ,when there is supposed to be huge wind turbines going up at the green head base why is no one asking about them ,i take it must be ok for them ones to go up

Garages that put there prices up . Were grantfield And sound station And leasks but not as much as the other two did . Why must we always be ripped off to line the pockets of other ppl ,but no matter what we say on here we will never win the fule price war ,will we

Yes I agree so nice to see that some ppl have a heart when it comes to a cat or dog been run over ,I do believe that if you are to hit a cat or dog that u at least stop and move the cat or dog off the road . Sorry for the loss to the owner of the cat.

OMG yea why would garages put up there prices just for the tall ships ,do we all look like fools and not see the sudden jump in price the week beginning the tall ships ,cos I did as my partner was in hospital and the week before tall ships it was£1.45.9 and then on the Monday it was £1.49.9. I could not believe it I was shocked to see that the same as most of the shops ect and stalls all bumped there prices up shocking ,tell you what if I was a tourist I would not come back when ur prices are like . Why rip ppl off ? .

Why would I won't stravanger to move closer ,get a grip mate . The parade of sale was already out on the horizon by 3pm as my mother in law was waiting with family to watch the start . Please don't treat me like a fool please I am not a 5yrs old . I mean they managed it fine in 1999 with the start at the lighthouse and by the way you could see the horizon just fine it was not misty at all . And I mean to say was why put start of race to be at lighthouse and the same in Shetland times on Friday .okay understand now .

Is it at all possible for someone to please explain why the tall ships decided to start the 2nd leg of the race a way down the other side of sandwick and not at the bressevy light house . As at 5pm me and the kids went over the hill in quarff to go get some fab Picts of the tall ships leaving with all there sails up and guess what to my shock they were not there at all ,we needed a telescope to see them what a massive let down it was for the kids ,I mean why put in the booklet starting at bressey light house when u don't same in Shetland time .

I have to admit the tall ships looked stunning from what I seen on Saturday daytime ,I felt let down by the fact the kids area as in cadonas was rubbish ,come on I mean £5 for 4 mins talk about taking the piss here not all parents and kids are made of money ,there was not much choice for them at all . Can some one please explain to me why a scarf would cost £50 when it don't cost that normally and a hand bag cost £40 and these are Shetland items ,we must all be fools to buy it . The sweetie stall why such high charges for sweets . The food stalls why charge an arm and a leg we are not all mugs who Have masses of money to spend on food when u have kids with you. And the beer tent and 2 of the pubs why o why did u have to make it so dame expensive ppl would of payed ,pubs would of made the money why make it so ppl had to pay thro the nose ,do we all have mugs onournheads come on Shetland we don't need to take ppl for a ride

It was advertised on shetland radiao as over 16 ,but you could take under 16 so long as parents were there and as it is most kids hear worse in school and down the street ,and as it is some parents are are a bit more open minded and not stuck up ,you hear and see worse on family guy on tv. Al murray was fantastic what a fantastic night he really got ppl going and interacted well with them better than kevin bridges and bill b hope al murray comes again
