Now I am leaving Tatties and Point I would like to thank everybody for their comments and views. I feel I have left the shop in good hands and the new proprietors have said they will continue the good work that I have put in over the last 17 months, the burgers will stay and allthe fine fillings will be around. I am usually at teh Tattie shop everyday at * or earlier and I close when I run out of Baked Tatties, the price of goods Tatties have doubled has gone up in the recent months but my prices have stayed the same. I am not going the way of the previous tenants and staying open all evening hopefully to catch one person an hour. You should get out a wee bit more we are open till 3 am on Fri and Sat is that late enough. Sundays is another poor day but I am open unlike the majority of cafes etc. The hours are governed by business if its very quiet I wilol close early. Oh my goodness the clocks go back Sat/Sun will I be open or closed at all hEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEElp me PS yes I am on my way oot

Its a shame to see another takeaway close,allegedlly the owner would not upgrade vent system and they were refused a late licence due to Saddo;s objecting. Just to confirm it wasn't Tatties and Point that objected You cannot develop a menu unless you get support

Jeez it looks like Lerwick but wiv real Xmas lighting,terrible how towns suffer, some due to large Stores moving in but situation not helped by landlords charging way too high rents, I am very happy to say my landlord does not fit into this category he's a good guy (a6selicker me). A lot of these landlords are some of our lovely Councillors.

If you read carefully I said he was one of the best cooks I had worked with a chef is different in the trade. Suddenly expletives come to the fore ,these weren't mentioned before I think you have a very selective memory I think you are losing the plot. A customer walks up to the counter can I have a cuppa? no prob , can I have this paper? no prob, can I have a bacon roll? hold on i'll wash my hands,can I have a beer?, hold on i'll was my hands,(different dept), oh my son wants a roll now, hold on i'll wash my hands it somehow doesn't work,go to the Co-op, go to Skippy dock harbour cafe do they wash their hands evrytime I think not. Yet these places have high standards of cleanliness and deal with surly customers. This is my last comment on this subject but get a life people, I can point out several miserable staff at Airport, also at a lot of other service establishments. I just feel sorry for you lot that you must be so helpful so happy all the time and never get the opportunity to feel [***Mod edit - content removed***] and be a real human. I was manager of the Airport cafe for a 6month period last year and the staff in question worked for me. The hours they put in the hard work and the abuse they had to put up with makes it not an easy job at times. I luckily due to the hard work put in by staff had a very few complaints and most of these came at times during the BIG SNOW when everybody was stressed The staff never let me down although the previous franchise holders let them down big time by laying them off when all flights were cancelled during the VOLCANO DOOMTIMES without pay. [***Mod edit - content removed***]is one of the best cooks I have had pleasure working with and since he has been there since Noah I should imagine a lot of folk have enjoyed his cooking without complaint. As usual folk tend to use these platforms to air their grievances because they have no real grievance it is just they are mad because their flight has been delayed or they have forgotten something at the office or home and need to bite at someone. Get a set of balls and complain to whoever is available at the time if not put it in writing its the old way, you can buy pen and paper at shops. Happy Chappy
